How much does it cost to buy a car in Georgia and bring it to Russia?

The price of the car itself is not included.
Which cars can be taken from Georgia to Russia?
Only cars that came into Georgia from somewhere other than the US or the EU. A car imported into Georgia from the US or the EU can't be exported to Russia.
Can a Russian citizen drive the car out of Georgia themselves?
No. Since 15 May 2025 Georgia has not let Russian and Belarusian citizens leave in passenger cars, so driving the car out yourself is not an option. In this service Car Select arranges delivery from Rustavi to Vladikavkaz.
How do the purchase and export work?
First we agree on the budget and requirements. Then we source and buy the car in Georgia, arrange re-export and pay the state duty. The last stage is delivery to Vladikavkaz, customs and SBKTS/EPTS.
What is needed to register the car in Russia?
An import declaration with a UIN, temporary registration and a test lab for SBKTS and EPTS. Since 1 April 2026 ERA-GLONASS is mandatory again for cars imported by individuals. Russian customs duty and the recycling fee depend on the car's age, engine size and power, so we calculate them for the specific car.
