Privacy policy

What carselect.ge learns about visitors, why, and where it goes. Only processing that actually happens on the site is described.

What data we receive

Request form: name, contact (phone, messenger or email), chosen service, budget and message text. Only the contact is required.

Technical data is sent automatically with the request: page address and ad tags (UTM), site and browser language, country and city derived from the IP address, time zone, IP address, screen size, referring page (referer) and browser details (User-Agent).

Live chat: the text of your messages, the page where the conversation started and the site language.

To protect against spam, the IP address is briefly (about two minutes) used in a submission counter.

Where data goes and why

The request is saved in the site database (Cloudflare D1) and sent to the team's work chat in Telegram so we can contact you and answer.

The site runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, so data is processed on its servers. Data is not passed to third parties for advertising or sale.

Live chat and AI assistant

Chat messages are forwarded to the managers' group in Telegram, one topic per conversation.

Until a manager joins, an assistant based on Cloudflare Workers AI (Llama 3.3 model) may reply. It receives the latest messages of the conversation and general service information from the site. Managers see the assistant's replies too. Once a manager answers, the assistant stops replying in that conversation.

The live transcript is kept for 30 days after the last activity; an archive of conversations is kept in the site database for managers.

Cookies and browser storage

cs_chat: chat conversation ID, 30 days, not accessible to page scripts.

locale: chosen site language, set when you switch language, 1 year.

cs_consent (localStorage) — your analytics choice.

sessionStorage keeps the ad tags of your visit and flags that pop-ups were already shown, for the duration of the visit.

Analytics and opting out

The site uses Yandex Metrica with a click map and session recording (Webvisor): Yandex receives data on visited pages, clicks, scrolling and device. We use it to understand what is inconvenient and to evaluate advertising.

You can opt out with the “Decline” button in the banner, and the counter stops working in this browser. To change your choice, clear the site data in your browser and the banner will appear again.

Retention and deletion

The live chat transcript is deleted automatically after 30 days. No retention period is set on the site for requests and the chat archive in the database. It is determined by the operator.

To find out what data of yours is stored or to request deletion, email us.

Data requests: info@carselect.ge

Document status: a draft based on how the site actually works. The operator's details, retention periods and the final wording must be confirmed by a lawyer.
