Excise on cars over 6 years old rises to 4.5 GEL per cc: what changed on April 2, 2026
The discussed ban on importing cars over six years old never went into effect. Instead, as of April 2, 2026, excise on that category went up to 4.5 GEL per cc. Here's the new rate table and who qualifies for a break.

Container shipping times to Poti port have dropped
A route change for some of our container shipments has cut the average transit time from the US port of origin to Poti. For clients on our turnkey import service, that means a shorter, more predictable wait for the car.

New service: "Expert for a day" for shortlisting between several cars
Clients often arrive in Tbilisi for two or three days with a short list of cars and no time to inspect each one separately. The new service is built for that: an expert works with you for the whole day.
